Happy New Year!!
It appears that our Turbo Tax program was stolen a few weeks back. Hmmm, hopefully it wound up in the trash when they realised that it was not a video game.
Asheville did not have fireworks last night. They had fireworks the first three weekends in December to encourage people to come downtown, hoping to boost the economy. Hmmm, that's OK, our good 'ol boy neighbor dutifully discharged all 9 shots from his semi-automatic, one lot away!! Hopefully he was not pointing up!!
Saturday I woke up with a sore throat. It got worse and Monday I almost went to the Dr. It started to get better on Monday and Tuesday I went to bed feeling good. Wednesday I woke up with a congested head. Hmmmm, at least I have two days to recover before my first race of 2009.
As I write this Rhonda is fryin' up some bacon and blueberry pancakes!! Hmmm, at least I am not going hungry!!!

Blueberry pancakes are magical for colds. Well, not really, but they sure taste good!
